Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to Algodue metering instruments purchased from Enpulse Pty Ltd.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Warranty Coverage Period

Algodue metering instruments supplied by Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of invoice.

Your invoice is required as proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

2. What This Warranty Covers

Subject to the terms of this policy, this warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, including:

  • failure of internal electronic components, including the measurement and display circuitry
  • defects in the terminals, display, or communication interface not caused by external damage, misuse, or abnormal use
  • firmware faults that materially affect core measurement or communication functionality

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, improper handling, improper storage, or abnormal use
  • cosmetic wear and tear, including scratches, scuffs, dents, discolouration, and fading, where this does not affect core functionality
  • damage caused by power surges, lightning, fire, water ingress beyond the product's rated specification, or installation on damaged, unsafe, unsuitable, or non-compliant electrical circuits
  • damage resulting from failure to follow product instructions or safety warnings
  • damage caused by unauthorised repair, modification, tampering, disassembly, or alteration of the instrument, enclosure, wiring, firmware, or accessories
  • faults caused by current transformers, adapters, wiring, or third-party components not supplied or approved by Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse
  • any issue to the extent it was caused by external factors unrelated to a defect in the product

4. Conditions of Use

To maintain eligibility under this warranty, the instrument must be installed and used in accordance with the product instructions and safety guidance.

This includes:

  • connection only within the instrument's specified voltage and current ratings
  • use of correctly rated current transformers and wiring where applicable
  • installation on a circuit that is safe and compliant with applicable electrical requirements
  • proper handling, storage, and care consistent with the product documentation

Metering instruments must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations. Where the instrument is connected via current transformers, the transformers must be correctly rated and correctly installed.

Unauthorised modification, opening of the housing, alteration of wiring, firmware changes, or fitting of components not supplied or approved by Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse may void this warranty to the extent that such conduct caused or contributed to the fault or damage.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact Enpulse support via the Contact page or info@enexus.com.au and provide:

  • your invoice or proof of purchase
  • product serial number
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photographs or video of the issue where relevant
  • details of the circumstances of use, where reasonably requested

Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse may require the product to be returned or made available for inspection and testing before the claim is approved.

6. Warranty Remedies

If Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse confirms that a defect is covered by this warranty, Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse may, at its option and to the extent permitted by law:

  • repair the product
  • replace the product
  • provide a refurbished replacement of equivalent function and value
  • refund the purchase price

For approved warranty claims, Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse will provide instructions regarding return shipping and handling.

Replacement products or repaired products may be supplied with new or refurbished parts of equivalent performance.

7. Timeframes

Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse aims to complete an initial claim assessment within 3 business days of receiving all reasonably required information.

If a repair, replacement, or other remedy is approved under this warranty, Enexus Distribution Pty Ltd trading as Enpulse will aim to process it within 7 to 10 business days, subject to stock availability, service requirements, and shipping location.

These timeframes are indicative only and may vary.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
